Dental fillings restore function to a teeth that have had dental caries removed, tooth structure broken, or missing. Dental fillings can either be temporary or permanent, and are available in composite (tooth colored), amalgam (silver colored), or a hybrid of the the two plus fluoride called Fuji.

Dental Crown (Dental Cap)
Dental crowns are custom fabricated porcelain shaped tooth coverings (like a hat or cap) that are permanently cemented over your existing inner tooth core. They can be fabricated to restore or enhance the aesthetics of a tooth or multiple teeth.
Placement of dental crowns requires two dental visits.
On the first appointment, the dentist will prepare, impression, select a shade and send everything to a dental lab where they will fabricate your custom porcelain crown. Two weeks later, you and the dentist will evaluate the look and feel of your dental crown in your mouth before permanently adhering your crown into place.

Dental Bridge
A dental bridge consists of multiple custom fabricated porcelain shaped tooth coverings (3 or more) that are fused together and permanently cemented onto abutment teeth to fill a space resulting from missing teeth.
A dental bridge requires 2 dental appointments.
On the first appointment, the dentist will prepare, impression, select a shade and send everything to a dental lab where they will fabricate your custom dental bridge. Two weeks later, you and the dentist will evaluate the look and feel of your dental bridge in your mouth before permanently adhering your bridge into place.

Dental Implant
Dental implants replace the root of a missing tooth. The placement of a dental implant is a outpatient surgical procedure and takes approximately 6-12 months from to complete.
After the initial placement of the implant, the body needs to build bone to support the implant long term. This process can take several months and varies widely among individuals.
The final step of the implant process is to fabricate a custom implant crown. This takes 2 appointments.
On the first appointment, the dentist will prepare, impression, select a custom shade for your tooth and then send everything to a dental lab where they will fabricate your custom implant crown. Two weeks later, you and the dentist will evaluate the look and feel of your implant dental crown in your mouth before permanently adhering your crown into place.
