Our dental hygienists are available Monday-Friday and offer a wide variety of appointment times to fit your busy schedule: early, over the lunch hour, and Wednesday evenings.

Kathy has an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Minnesota and has advanced certifications in local anesthesia administration and CPR.
 
For Kathy, the best part of working at Dentistry For the Entire Family is the opportunity to watch her patients grow and mature over the years. Having been with the practice for 35 years (and counting:)—she’s seen many of her once-young patients become adults, with families of their own.
 
Kathy lives in White Bear Lake with her husband. She has three adult children and is a proud grandmother to Levi with another grandkid on the way! Originally from Wisconsin, she is a proud supporter of the Green Bay Packers—even without Aaron Rodgers (ha ha).
 
When she’s not working, she’s likely poolside with neighbors, babysitting, and/or is relaxing at the family cabin.

What do you love most about being a hygienist? “I enjoy the relationships I have with my patients; most become my friends whether they like it or not:)”.
 
Emily graduated Magna Cum Laude from Minnesota State University, Mankato where she earned a BS in Dental Hygiene and has advanced certifications to administer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, restorative functions, and is certified in CPR.
 
Emily participates yearly in Give Kids A Smile Day and Mission of Mercy events. Both organizations provide free dental care to adults and children in need.
 
Emily lives in NE Minneapolis, loves sports, fitness, and margaritas:)

What do you love most about being a dental hygienist?
“I enjoy the relationships I have with my patients; helping people to better understand the direct correlation between oral and general health”.
 
Tara graduated from Argosy University with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and has advanced certifications to administer local anesthetic, nitrous oxide, and is certified in CPR.
 
Tara participates annually in Give Kids A Smile Day and Mission of Mercy events, and volunteers for the Union Gospel Mission. Give Kids A Smile and Mission of Mercy are organizations that provide free dental care to adults and children in need.
 
Outside of work, Tara and her family enjoy the great outdoors: camping, fishing, hunting, and shed hunting with her dog and hubby.

Q. When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A. A dental hygienist:) I’ve always been obsessed with my teeth. I want everybody to LOVE to SMILE with CONFIDENCE.

Q. If you could have any super power, what would it be?
A. Precognition, foreknowledge of an event.

Q. If you had to delete all but 3 apps off your smartphone, which ones would you keep?
A. Google Maps, Password Keeper, and Pinterest. And Amazon too if I could.

What Brittany loves most about being a dental hygienist is the relationships she builds with her patients and helping them feel confident about their smiles.
 
Brittany has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University, Mankato, an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Herzing University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Assistant from Hennepin Technical College. Additionally, Brittany holds advanced certifications in administering local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, restorative functions, and CPR.
 
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. Personal interests include: scrapbooking, photography, and the occasional indulgence of her favorite food—ice cream.
 
Fun tidbits about Brittany. She believes that listening is an important skill that everyone should have, and if given a choice, she would rather go hang gliding than relax on the beach watching others do it. If she won a cruise to anywhere in the world, she’d choose to go to Alaska.

Why did you become a hygienist? “I became fascinated with teeth as a teenager—aspired to become a dental hygienist. Since becoming a hygienist, “I love the 1:1 relationships that I have with my patients”.
 
When asked what do patients often comment most about their dental hygiene appointment experience? Jenna replied, “I almost always have a little heater running in my room and that they enjoyed me singing country music as I’m cleaning their teeth”.
 
Jenna has an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Argosy University. She also has advanced certifications to administer local anesthesia and is certified in CPR.
 
Jenna is married with three “hockey playing” children. During hockey season, family time is spent at the rink. In the off-season—summer, Jenna and her family retreat to their family cabin in northern Minnesota for R & R.
 
Few fun facts about Jenna. She looks forward to her morning coffee ritual. She loves reality tv shows including the Bachelor and the Bachelorette. And if she were given the opportunity to have dinner with any famous person, she’d choose Justin Timberlake.

With dentistry running in her family, Jennifer developed a deep understanding of the anxiety many people experience when visiting the dentist. Her goal is to provide exceptional care and ensure every patient feels comfortable—and has a positive dental experience.
 
Jennifer holds an Associate of Science degree from North Central Technical College. Committed to giving back to the community, Jennifer has participated in donated dental care programs such as Touched Twice and Mission of Mercy Dental clinics. These programs offer free dental care to underserved populations.
 
Originally from Middleton, Wisconsin, Jennifer moved to Minnesota in 2022. Jennifer has a golden retriever named Lady and enjoys fishing, hiking, and exploring the breathtaking landscapes of national parks.

Rachal holds an Associate of Science degree from St. Cloud Technical College. Rachal also has advanced certifications to administer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, Biolase Laser Use, and is certified in CPR.
 
Rachal is married. She has fraternal twin boys—and a young puppy. In her free time, she enjoys watching Marvel and Star Wars movies as a family. Her favorite season is fall: beautiful colors, cooler days, and family bon-fires.
